The US Ambassador has told the United Nations that America is committed to staying in South East Asia and helping those who wish to stay free of communist rule for as long as it takes.

North Korea is still insisting it will not allow full international inspections of it's nuclear facilities and many fear they could be developing a nuclear weapons programme.
