  • A Change is Gonna Come
    by Meredith Grey

"...Change; we don't like it, we fear it, but we can't stop it from coming. We either adapt to change, or we get left behind. It hurts to grow, anybody who tells you it doesn't is lying. But here's the truth: Sometimes the more things change, the more they stay the same. And sometimes, oh, sometimes change is good. Sometimes change is everything...."

Once upon a time deep into an enchanted forest, was a beautiful flower garden. Inside of this precious flower garden was tulips of every color. Marigolds that reflected the yellow of the sun. Purple gardenias that glistened with the drips of the morning dew.

Deep in this magical garden were talking roses. Amongst these roses was a georgeous Red one. So as the story goes, the Red rose looked at the Blue rose and said, Blue Rose, oh Blue Rose how could you ever be as beautiful as I, your petals hang so low to your thorns.

Then the Blue Rose cried and then the Red Rose laughed. She then looked over at the Yellow Rose and said to her, Yellow Rose, Yellow Yose how could you ever be as beautiful as I, you don't reflect the rainbows of rain in the sky like I. and the yellow rose did cry. the red rose just snickerd.

Just then in the distance the Red Rose did see. The most beautiful White Rose bud growing in extravagance. delicate with grace. petals firmed with desire. Just as fury burned inside Red Rose. Jealousy took over the Red Roses heart.

The Red Rose suddenly began to speak. then instantly the gardener came by and plucked the little red rose from off her stem right out of the bush.
